Train Cleaning Supervisor
TRAIN CLEANING SUPERVISOR | £30,500 PER YEAR RISING TO £31,500 AFTER 6 MONTHS | VARIOUS LOCATIONS (LONDON) | FULL TIME | NIGHT SHIFTS (FLEXIBLE) | PERMANENT
We are currently recruiting for a Train Cleaning Supervisor to work with one of our major Clients across London. This role is to develop and lead the onsite teams, ensuring they are delivering works to an excellent standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- To lead and manage the onsite team of Operatives and Team Leaders at various locations ensuring an outstanding and consistent service.
- Oversee and manage daily staffing levels, rotas and annual leave requests.
- Carry out inspections and audits of cleanliness to maintain standards.
- Report on staffing levels and recruitment needs.
- Accomplish department objectives by supervising staff and organising and monitoring work processes.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing organisation standards and adhering to Health and Safety Regulations.
- Complete tasks by assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operational problems and communicating new procedures.
- Establish strong relationship with customers, communicate effectively and professionally at all levels.
- Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by all employees and provide feedback.
- Address any non-conformities with Team Leaders and Operatives.
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns whilst adhering to company policies and standards of behaviour.
- Conduct training, motivate team members, discover training needs and provide coaching.
- Report on any Accidents, Incidents and Near Misses.
- Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
- Conduct disciplinary investigations and interviews.
- Set clear team goals.
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
- Oversee day-to-day operation.
- Work with the team to help achieve goals.
- Drive company vehicles.
- Smart and professional.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be willing to undertake ongoing training to learn new skills.
- Ability to work and react well under pressure, working to tight time scales and prioritise work efficiently.
- Be a quick learner.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the role.
- Demonstrate integrity, a hard-working ethic and be target focused, whilst embracing the challenges and changes within the industry.

QUALIFACATIONS
- Personal Track Safety certification (will be provided).
- FORS certification (will be provided).
- Full working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
