FINANCE ASSISTANT | 22K | BRIGHTON | PERMANENT

We are currently recruiting for a finance assistant, to be based in Brighton. You will be part of our finance team, providing financial services to the AGS Group as a whole.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with all day-to-day processing within the Finance Department
  • Adhering to all deadlines within the Finance Department
  • Collating data for other AGS Depts
  • Assist with development and implementation of improved business processes
  • Contribute to the overall development of the Finance Department and the AGS Group
  • Ensuring compliance with HM Revenue & Customs regulations, including CIS, PAYE and VAT
  • Assist with maintaining AGS’ ISO Quality Documentation and procedures, including internal audits of the IMS system

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Experience in using sage 200 or sage line 50 or similar accounting package
  • AAT or Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
