Storeman
STOREMAN | COMPETITIVE SALARY | 10AM – 6PM | LONDON | PERMANENT
We’re currently recruiting for a dedicated storeman who has a wealth of experience working within mechanical, electrical engineering or equivalent industries. As a Storeman, you will use your skills to maintain the upkeep and the servicing of plant and cleaning machinery, ensuring ready for use when required.
The ideal candidate must be computer literate and a quick learner using company software for recording of assets and consumables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the storage system for all assets, spares and consumables
- Moving towable plant and machinery to different sites
- Manage and maintain all stock levels, including spare parts and consumables as requested
- Reporting of any missing or damaged equipment
- Demonstrate competency in maintaining mechanical equipment
- Maintain a clean and tidy store area
- Moving stock between our Brighton and London
- Maintaining the upkeep and the servicing of plant and cleaning machinery, ensuring ready for use when required
- General driving duties
- Assisting with PAT testing (training will be provided)
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Mechanical, electrical engineering or other technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
- Full clean driving licence
- Must be able to tow
- Confident driving up to and including 7 tonne vehicles with tail lift
- Computer literate
