The National Minimum Wage and the London Living Wage Increase…
Effective from April 2019, The National Minimum Wage will increase from £7.83 to £8.21, an increase of £0.38p.
The Mayor has also announced the new London Living Wage from £10.20 to £10.55 per hour, an increase of £0.35p.
180,000 people that work for real Living Wage employers across the country are set for a pay rise as the new Living Wage rate increases to £9 around the UK and £10.55 in London.
With the London Living Wage increase from £10.20 to £10.55, more than 1,500 London-based employers have signed up to pay their staff the hourly rate agreed.
